Sneaker Vending Machine? / May 1, 2008 / 10:00 am

Onitsuka Tiger, worldwide known as Asics since the ‘70s, is not only selling their shoes at stores and the internet these days. They’re now available via … vending machines? It’s true! The company has made one stop shopping possible through the same machine you buy your Cheetos and Gatorade. The contraption debuted in London on April 14th and will be making a tour throughout various cities across the United Kingdom. The device is custom made and created from 100 plus pieces. For the time being, only the Mexico 66 in classic red, white, and blue will be stocked in US sizes 6 -11. The downfall: no returns or trying on with this innovation. I guess these are the prices one pays for sneaker convenience.

I remember when “Space Jam” came out bus shelters would be smashed often cause’ people would be stealing the posters inside. As for the vending machine idea I like it, but give me some adidas Superstars

they’ll do it with the less expensive kicks only . . . not the high end. good gimmick tho, alot of guys will buy em just to say they did or only because of the theme of buying shoes out of a vending machine.
