Expect to see these on Gil’s feet when the 2008-2009 NBA season rolls around. I can’t definitively say whether Arenas and the other adidas “Signature” athletes will have their own shoes , as some say the brand will return to individual models, while others say the they will continue alone with the “We” approach.

Either way, these are butter like Phife and Q-Tip, and will definitely receive some light in one of my “I’m A Low Top Man In a High Top World…” posts down the line. Peep how the three stripes are actually implemented as a supportive element…Fresh!

    Haha! Don’t have these…yet. ;) . I will be wreaking havoc in the Wisconsin suburbs in these hopefully in the summer, or when I’m in Milwaukee next fall for school. They’re wonderful though.

    jeremy, for real, i’m a dad with school tuitions, dance class and sports fees, mortgage payments, etc. and every time you do this to me, somebody ain’t gettin’ paid!!!

    i feel you bob. i can’t lose sight of the long term for some short term gains. mag issue #16 is too important. but gil better not leave a duffell bag laying around the goodman at barry farms this summer. that’s like waving a steak in the face of a famished lion. ya’ll can catch the video on cnn of gil chasing me out the projects while i have his kicks in hand.
