yo, a lot of heads were on me for wearing me a month and change in advance. i was playing in one game where, i kid you not, some dude ran from stands on the other side of the court to ask me what they were . . . during the game? i was like dude, ask me after the 4th quarter, man! i’m trying to concentrate on getting buckets! haha

    Bob-

Haha! That’s hilarious. I got in-game compliments when I wore my UCLA adidas a3 Superstar Ultras and And1 Triangles in an adult rec. league I played in this past winter. Definitely a curious feeling, but it’s cool that other dudes recognize.

I’m feeling your colorway the most. Love the material usage too.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the Orange/Grey colorway is kids sizes only, right??? If that’s the case Bob, you got the super exclusives!! Either that or you got a small azz foot.

Btw, I really love what they’re doing with the soles on these shoes. If you look at em in person, check out how the outer ridges are a different color than the center of the sole and the differnt ways they freak it.

that outsole technology is completely recent, teddy. i actually had the idea to do multicolored layered outsoles on the af1 i collabed on with nike for ‘07, but when we were doing the designs back in ‘06, we couldn’t do it yet. good eye.
