Sketches are the foundation for every sneaker, shoe, boot, sandal, and loafer. Those Jordan XXI PE’s you’re wearing right now? Yep, you can thank designer Mike Ditullo for putting those together. How about those adidas TS Lightpeeds you were hooping in earlier this afternoon? You can thank former adidas (he’s at Pony now) designer Kyle Pulli for crafting those.
My point is, designers and their initial sketches are often forgotten in today’s fast paced sneaker world. “Sketch-Fu” posts will be dedicated to sweet concept sketches, sketch developments, and those behind them.

Wow that middle And1 looks sleak. Wish it came in a couple different color ways though.

Wow those And1 Franchise look awesome…. wished they came out like that image; colour and design wise. Don’t get me wrong I love retro’s, but I much rather prefer to see sneaker companies come out with fresh new designs/technology.

Great to see a post dedicated to sneaker designers and their sketches. You got your work cut out for you, since it’s not like you can just google it.

I don’t get the connection between And1 Franchise and the lady though.
