Lacoste Butters on DJ Vaughn at the “Heat” party. Yeah, he bought them in Brooklyn but they looked mighty fresh in Denmark!

AF1 on NYC Jazz keyboardist Alex Marcello while we were in ChristiaƱa. If you’ve been to that part of the world, you know it’s a dark, forgotten place, but these shined real bright under the moonlight.

Fred Perry suedes on Rasheed a.k.a. Maylay Sparks at the “Heat” Party. Anyone remember him? Was a late ’90s MC from Philly who put out a couple of 12″s. I brought him out to Denmark back in ‘99 to do the Roskilde Festival, and, well, he liked it so much out there he never came back!

I remember picking up that Maylay sparks at Footworks R.I.P.

Also saw him perform at the Nuyorican. I still play that record.
