Pony’s Back In ‘08: Pony Trifecta / Apr 7, 2008 / 12:07 pm

It appears as if Pony could be a new force to be reckoned with. With the recent signing of Randy Moss, a hilarious ad campaign, and some in-your-face designs, you can’t help but take notice…

The Trifecta, a cross-trainer, is directed towards those who prefer a light, versatile, MacGuyver type of joint when they’re doing damage in their respected athletic arena. The mesh window is vicious, and be sure to take note of two distinct features you’ll be seeing a lot in the future from the brand:
1. Logo Placement-The Chevron is integrated into the outsole, and actually acts as a traction element.
2. Midsole Indentations- The “cut-outs” create a lighter shoe, all while helping maintain a stable fit through the midfoot.

    garbage

the shoe looks unfinished. and more of an orthodic walking shoe than cross-trainer. I don’t think a cross-trainer market really exists, but even if it did how could Pony compete against UA (nevermind nike or adi)??

The sole looks very awkward to me. The white ones look ok, but the other colors look awful. The placement of the logo really doesnt work, i dont think. I like that they’re trying something new and trying to mix it up, but im not really feelin these ones. I do like their high tops though.

Imma have to agree with the others, this sneaker is a lil wack. I do like the white ones at the top, but thats about it. i dont think i can see myself rocking a pair of these

the white/blue joints look like a cool summer chill-out shoe, light and airy like a english muffin.
