Mix*tap*ing (verb): To humiliate a defender or defenders with deceptive and sudden movements, leading, or not to a bucket.

Check the clip below and let me know if this qualifies as a “mixtape?” Is this a two for one here on the humiliation scale? Feel me on the simplicity…Give me a primo backdoor cut and the off-hand power flush on the big fella any day of the week.

Big Ups to Memphis for dismantling UCLA and putting the Bruins’ defensive pressure in the freezer. Chris Douglas-Roberts a.k.a. “Finish” put 28 on them with ease and looks super ready to put numbers on Kansas’ three defenders: Russell “Gimme That” Robinson, Mario “Grand Theft Also” Chalmers, and Brandon “X-Factor” Rush. Gotta give Brandon the “X” on the spot because he’s the one who has to match up with “Finish.” So, get your snacks ready and see if Kansas can stop a Memphis backcourt that can finish strong with either hand, defend on and off the ball, and compete above the rim with gusto. I hear the Jayhawks saying “We can do all that too.”
