If I heard this on during warm-ups, I’d totally flip and hug the DJ! This Salsa classic is by Fruko y Sus Tesos, titled “El Preso” of his El Grande LP. You don’t have to be Latino to feel the soul of this. Shout-out to Oliver Wang for the link, and to my Boricua uncle Artie Andino who as a playground referee of 25+ years has influenced many tournaments to play our music during halftime.
