The Dime Magazine crew hit up the Converse NYC a few days ago, and came back with some enlightening news.
The Converse Fastbreak is coming back (albeit it in limited quantites this August! Bob, where you at! And below is a wall of new releases….I’d like to get a better look at the joints on the far right.

i was there today. the 0100 boots are sick, as are the team wade jump-offs. but the chopper is the ‘72 Olympic inspired pro model dr. j lows in royal/grey. the pr dudes were talking to me and i totally lost my concentration when my eyes met them on the wall! the fastbreaks are not an exact recreation of the originals unfortunately. they changed up the outsole and midsole, even took out the nylon mesh, so i didn’t get amped about them like i would’ve otherwise. i wish you were in new york, young jeremy–i’d totally take you to joints like these. my man

damn those shoes are hot… lemme tell ya I’m a big fan of high tops and that star and chevron combo kick ass, always…. hope these will be an easy cop for me in the Great White North… can’t wait to ball in them with my retro rookie Jordan jersey

The Team Wades are indeed sick, and a blue/grey combo is always nuts in my mind, so I’ll have to look into those. Converse is stepping it up.
Hopefully I’ll make it out there one day…
