BJ “Da Beast” McFarlane checked in with us to give you, our readers, an update on his season overseas . . .

I’m in Argentina’s top pro division, averaging 17 ppg, 7 reb, 1.5 stl., and 2 ass. I am the third option on the team respectively, with two other scorers at the guard position: Argentine Julio Mazzaro and my boy Cleotis Brown from Alabama. I brought Cleotis down to NY to play for a summer to see what streetball was about. We have four games left. If we win all of them, we’ll finish in the top four, otherwise we’ll stay at our current sixth position. Last game I had 26 and 11 with 3 assists (they don’t count the kick out to a shooter an assist or i would average more). The season ends on March 23rd; the playoffs start after that.
