I Need Those Gil II Zeros! Help me! / Mar 4, 2008 / 9:39 am

Bob got a pair mailed to him from adidas, but we’re not as fortunate out here in France.

I really need those adidas Gil II Zeros! I’m trying to buy pairs through Eastbay but the shipping prices are damn high now! why aren’t they and the TS Lightswitch distributed in Europe? No more Superstar Pro model, either.

Warn your people at adidas and Nike that especially in France we don’t have enough choice. It was better three years ago. Basketball and general sports stores all tell me the same thing–they don’t have enough offers from the brands.

Basketball is big here, and could be bigger if sneaker companies put money and products on the market.
In the ’90s we couldn’t see 15 colorways on a sneaker and what was available in the States. Now, especially with the internet, it’s kind of frustrating!

K1X will continue to improve their b-ball sneakers and take the market shares all those brands are losing.

peace out,

hey, man, sorry to hear about the european situation with shoes. the brands are definitely aware of it. you shouting it out would make no difference. they purposely want certain stuff to be regional, and also base it on past sales records. for example when nike first tried the air force 1 in the early ’90s, it flopped out there. it wasn’t til almost a decade later that they tried again because they really felt the heat from retail. i don’t know that their basketball products will demand that out there, even though i hear from ballplayers all the time that good sneakers are hard to find. good luck though man!
