In an overnight deal, Corey “Homicide” Williams has signed with Croatian powerhouse Cibona Zagreb. Currently traveling from Melbourne to Hong Kong to Paris then Zagreb, Corey will be ready for action this week. After finishing Australia’s NBL Townsville Crocodiles season with MVP numbers (21 ppg, 4.6 ast), he’s poised to do the same in Europe’s basketball capital. Niels from KIX warned him, “Homi, beware of those Croatian coaches (they are tougher than nails) and fans (who are known to actually throw nails). You’ll love it!”
