No doubt, I’m amped to have the original Project Playground Basketball members of myself, Jack Ryan, and Ramon Rodriguez do our first NBA Halftime show together in two years this Thursday night in San Antonio, TX. In ‘06-’07, I got caught up doing halftime reports as part of the MSG Network Knicks’ broadcasts, and Ramon was busy with his HBO WIRE lead role all season. The group still prospered, though, as new members Jansy Gonzalez, Snake, and Hi-Rise jumped in to rep.
Last weekend, Snake, Hi-Rise, and I did the Va. Tech vs. Georgia Tech ACC match. It was an incredible feeling to have the opportunity to entertain the people there considering the tragedy that happened last April ‘07 when a student opened fire and created the biggest on-campus murder in our country’s history. The crowd showed us mad love, and it was a memorable experience for all of us. Shout out to Vasallo of Va. Tech who led all scorers with 28 pts. and hollered “Boricua” to me when he saw me in the tunnel before halftime!

When PPB coming to ATL, we need some entertainment for these Hawks Games man! If I see that Marching Band or them lil kids more time during Halftime, Im a throw a brick at somebody!
