In Harlem, people ball in the snow, so it’s no surprise that heads formed at the House Of Hoops in the cold rain late last night for the 8AM drop of Quentin Richardson and Ray Allen Air Jordan Retro 8 PEs.
The white and orange colorway (above) was made for Quentin Richardson of the New York Knicks, and the black and green (below) for Ray Allen of the Boston Celtics.
If you’re looking for a pair, call the House of Hoops and tell them Bobbito sent you. I’m sure they’ll be happy to take your call!

steve–you got jokes! when i interviewed quentin for ‘it’s the shoes’ in ‘05 out in phoenix, he had mad Jordan PEs in his closet in Suns colors purple/orange. it was sick! the 8s above are flavor. i’m a knicks fan, but i’m rooting for the celts to take it this year. word. shuttleworth in ‘08.

My wife and I had a bet that Shuttlesworth was a Jordan endorsed athlete, I swore I saw him rocking 8s at the only game we attended this season. Looks like I won!

cas uno, if you ever get a chance to read my book ‘where’d you get those?’ you’ll see i’ve had my eye on what celtics wear on their feet for decades. as for rooting for them, i thought that’d never happen, but seeing as their whole starting five is people of color and i’ve met three of them and can vouch that they all mad cool, i’m down. but i’m not no celtic bandwagon hopper. just like to see garnett and shuttlesworth get a chip. they deserve it, and it’s like the knicks are in contention so i don’t mind rooting for someone else.

But the sickest PE 8’s have to go to Bob’s fellow Lower Merion alum Kobe Bean Bryant. When Kobe was in that transitional phase from adidas and could wear any shoe he wanted as long as it wasn’t more that 3 games in a row he was MURDERING IT. AJ’s 6’s, 7’s, 8’s in Lakers purple & gold. He also flipped the OG Reebok AI Question 1 in Lakers colorways.
Actually my fave PE J’s of all time was the McNabb 11’s with that dark Eagles green patent. *sobs*
