Super Pro-Keds on Mr. Pilgrim at “Hot Peas & Butter” in Illadelph. Dude wasn’t even born when these were the official officialness, so I had to show him love for hookin’ them so lovely. Plus he had some top rock in him. Good to see the younger generation carrying the torch correctly.

Nike Air Max 90 on Petey Colon at “Hot Peas & Butter” in Illadelph. We were in a car together with DJ Eclipse driving from New York, so I didn’t notice these until we got to the spot. When Petey was known as DJ Obscure in the late ’90s, he interned for Lord Sear and I on our 89.9FM “C.M. Famalam” radio program. He didn’t have a sneaker game at all back then, so it was nice to see him step it up with some flavor!

Puma Clyde on a kid at Studio B in Brooklyn. Whoa! The turqouise/aqua blue/light blue whatever you wanna call them took me back to ‘80 Brooklyn Tech HS days! Cats used to get vicked for these in lunchroom and in gym class! I’m happy those days are over. I’m also glad to see heads still wearing them.

Personally, the continuim of this “throw back” ish is getting way tired.

Super Pro Keds and Puma Clydes (frESH color, but still)….
Even the Air Max 9fevers, man….

I guess I’m just gettin stuck in my ways in my elder age.
I’m the grinch that stole throw back lately (no relation to anything broke back btw)….

All in all, I LIKE NIKE, all the rest can take a HIKE.
    heh.
I have no idea why I chose to join in what looks like a private “side bar” joke, but rhyming words’ll do that to ya.
    peace.

Damn Bob, those Keds are nice like that, I want those Clydes too. I gotta say this is the dopest Feet on the Street I’ve seen since those Claes that tore my face off. (I am still saving up for those buddy boy.) Oh also, I went and copped the Cuba Gazelles you told me about. Not so hot, I mean they’re cool and everything but they kinda smell fishy. Not sure they rep La Isla Bonita quite like I had thought. I think it’s the adhesive. Either way Q-Slice, you got the schtaaaaayyyle baby. Be easy doggie.
