Back in December, I wrote a post (http://www.bouncemag.com/2007/12/27/the-blenda-the-first-dominicano-to-rep-the-globetrotters-ever/)
about Kenny “The Blenda” Rodriguez ascension from the Washington Heights’ streetball circuit to becoming a proud member of the Harlem Globetrotters traveling squad. Well, he’s been killing it–just peep the end of the video for proof–and is returning for the 1st time to perform in front of his hometown crowd at Madison Square Garden this Friday Feb. 11th. It’s not his debut at MSG, though. Me and him rocked a Knicks’ halftime show as members of Project Playground (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ga71aHEh2iI) back in ‘05. I wish my Dominican brother nothing but the best. Rock dat ****, homey!

It’s great to see my boy Ken finally get a chance to show the world what he’s all about! The Blenda is, hands down, the nations #1 freestyle trickster and now the world is getting a chance to see what a select few have known for years. Ken is the real deal. Show your ass off at the Garden Ken!!
