60°F and bright sunshine in January, chicas everywhere, and tons of playgrounds . . . would you mind if I vote for Barcelona as Europe’s best ballin’ spot?
Last weekend I was lucky to fly to Bread & Butter, Europe’s biggest fashion tradeshow. The event was crazy not only for the business aspect but more for all the special nightly parties. However my plan wasn’t to dance but to play in Sants, one of the continent’s most beautiful playgrounds. Located in a park called ” Espanya Industrial,” the concrete court is surrounded with trees and a small lake, a plexiglass backboard & chain links on the rim–do you know a better combo?
We played several 3 on 3 games with my boys from Streetballstyle, who recently released their first mixtape BCN STREETBALL. It features a wide variety of playgrounds & tournaments mixed with some freestyle interludes, punctuated by a really good soundtrack.
