Wow. I could’ve written some longwinded post describing my thoughts on this shoe. This is the 23, and while I’m sure there will be haters, these far surpassed anything I expected. The overall contour, signed toebox, argyle stitching, vibrant ankle fabric…man these rock. And I didn’t even mention the outsole!

Unfortunately, I know next to nothing regarding cushioning, materials, or manufacturing. I “hear” these were produced with almost no stitching, which means they’ll fit like a glove. Even so, I’m incredibly excited with this shoe. Reason is, Jordan Brand appeared to take a step away from the “retro inspired” product with these. Of course, I love Jordan XI, Jordan VI…but I’m 18! I like to wear things that are relative to my era, look different (sometimes drastically different), and perform on the court. As a side note, I think most brands will be transitioning away from retros a bit come ‘08. And while I enjoy the flavor of yesteryear, I cannot be gladder. There’s a shoe coming soon that I like more than this one
The one negative I foresee is pricing. If anyone wants to donate money to me or hook me up with two pairs of size 13…I’ll be forever grateful. I need one to rock and one to stock with these.

Is it true that the XXIII is the last of the MJ signatures?

i’ve heard that there will be a XXIV, and XXV, and on and on. Why stop it? Can’t wear retros forever, and what will kids 20 years from now have to look forward to if there aren’t new releases all the time? They surely will not want to rock in 2038 what their parents did in 2008 . . .

Thanks for the sneak tip (pun intended), Jeremy. Good to see someone liking the design. Some people got nothing but hate for the kicks, tho’(just hit KATC forum, for starters). But anyway, you mentioned a future release that you like more than AJ23.. care to share what it is?

Bob-I’ve heard different things about the continuation of the line. I guess we will just have to wait for future developments I’m really excited for the upcoming Jordan Enhancer though.
Bakar-I’ll give you a clue. Leeloo Minai Lekatariba Laminatcha Ekbat De Sabat…haha.
The shoe should be dropping soon.
