Nike ReUse A Shoe Donation Box @ House of Hoops on 125th St. off Frederick Douglass Blvd.

All of you out there have some shoes that you’re not wearing anymore. As you saw last week at Bouncemag.com, there are many non-profit organizations you can donate them to so that they land on a shoeless child’s feet somewhere else in the world. Another option is dropping them off in a Nike ReUse A Shoe box. This program turns used joints into sport surfaces that are well placed in underserved communities around the world, including five new basketball courts in Katrina-wrecked New Orleans. Since its inception, they’ve recycled over 19 million pairs!

You can donate any and all sneaker brands. For more info, hit up: www.nikereuseashoe.com
