Each week we feature ON THE FENCE: A playground or streetball clip showcasing a dunk, crossover, highlight reel, etc. of Ballers across the globe that you may or may not have heard of, hence, putting them On the Fence.

Our pick this week: 24-yr. old Kareem Ward aka “Air Bama” giving us a quick flashback of VC’s 2000 All-Star Elbow Dunk.

Peep his clip below and tell us if you think “Air Bama” is On The Fence

Anyone remember whether VC’s elbow dunk was off the dribble or off a bounce?

  2. Kenny Patt says:

Very nice. I would like to see clips of guys dunking like during game action.

  3. Kenny Patt says:

  6. Bobbito Garcia a.k.a. Kool Bob Love says:

nah, vince carter’s elbow dunk was off the meat rackazonie! i can clearly remember my man leaving a message on my machine, cuz as usual i missed it while playing ball myself, but he was like, ‘yo, bob–vc did the most outrageous ****, like it was borderline disrespectful to the rim. he put his elbow through it . . .’ and i tried imagining it in my head, but couldn’t until i saw the highlight. people can say what they want, but between that and him jumping over the weiss dude, vince definitely takes teh title for most talked about dunker the last 10 years. now, hopefully you caught our article on jackie jackson in bounce #13, who did all vince did and then some, just 40-50 years prior . . .

  7. David Astramskas says:

What’s up Bobbito (I was just listening to the NBA Best Kept Secret album a few days ago).

Just wanted to warn you guys that the biggest dunk event since Vinsanity is happening this week. Like Dr J in 76, Nique and Mike in 88 and Vince in 2000, 2008 will mark the next step in the evolution of dunking with TFB.
