Pass The Roc CEO Jarrod Greene

For those who are not aware, the PASS THE ROC clothing line is still going strong and making monumental moves. I’ve had the privilege of being sponsored by them and I’m just waiting for other people to catch on. It’s one of the best brands that I’ve ever worn. The quality and design are incredibly unique and everywhere I go, heads always ask me, “Where did you get that outfit?” The re-launch of PASS THE ROC is set for January 2008. If you’re looking for on and off the court specialty basketball clothing, this is certainly the brand for you.

Head honcho and CEO, Jarrod Greene, will also be putting together an exhibition game with their own PASS THE ROC LEGENDS streetball team come April of 2008 in Jersey City, New Jersey. The contest will be featuring well known streetball players, along with myself. Two to three weeks beforehand, a 3-ON-3 tournament with a $5000 cash prize will take place. The winners will also get the chance to compete against the PASS THE ROC LEGENDS.

The PASS THE ROC brand will be sponsoring Kenny Smith’s basketball camp (North Carolina) in the Summer of 2008. Also in that season, Kenny Anderson will be shooting a PASS THE ROC television commercial to help boost the line’s visibility in America. Be prepared for the footwear line that’s coming to a store near you.

Be on the lookout for the re-launching of www.passtheroc.com’s online store going up in late January. For more information you can email INFO@PASSTHEROC.COM.

I always get confused between Pass the Roc and Team Roc of Rocawear. But you’re right, the quality is on some other level..

Keep the great info comin on the threads.

Well, PASS THE ROC was out well before Team Roc was even thought about. What happened was, when Rocawear discovered that PASS THE ROC had was an athletic brand, they tried to monopolize the market and come out with their own “athletic brand” but it didn’t work. PASS THE ROC is small at this time compared to Rocawear, but they are going to take over the true specialty basketball business once their fire ignites. They are the true “Official Basketball Outfitters” in my opinion. Their clothing quality is unmatched by any other brand in their category by far.

Hef - do you work for the company by any chance?

  5. hef says:

Actually I don’t work for the company, but I know the company’s background very well.

I would have to side with Game Over Athletic Wear. I believe they are at the core of the urban market and as true to the hood as a brand can be.

Hello, I am very familiar with this company back when they first started to launch their clothing line. I am friends with the head designer and I knew for a fact the way he is always working they will be in every sports store worldwide.
