Each week we feature ON THE FENCE: A playground or streetball clip showcasing a dunk, crossover, highlight reel, etc. of Ballers across the globe that you may or may not have heard of, hence, putting them On the Fence.

Our pick this week: 20-yr. old Baranek, one of the illest handlers on the European scene right now. He’s been touring in Poland and Germany with the NBA Europe Live Tour 1-on-1 Tournament, as well as showcasing in freestyle shows during Euroleague games.

Peep his clip below and let us know what you think.

Whassup.. back again y’all. Most of the clip shows nice tap drill and v-dribble variations. Pretty straightforward, but real swift and rapid. Wonder if kid has any more moves in his arsenal..

  2. LeKeith Taylor says:

Yeah I wonder the same thing - I’d like to see this kid in real game. Bakar, you think all the swift dribbling would break a Box-and-1 Zone? Hmmmmmm.

  3. Jesse Washington says:

Looks like he’s abusing a bunch of burgers to me. I’d put him on lock–like when I play Bobbito.

Dope clips my man - especially the battle joint vs. Johnny Blaze. Good call.

  8. PR says:

REALLY??? The people he’s playing against are terrible and he’s not much better. All that is missing is the circus music. That trick $%!t was hot back in 2001. Come on Bounce… Only REAL BALL IN 2008.

  9. Nhamz says:

This kid isn’t getting going to get his shot off against real competition. He shoots a short and mid-range SET shot? C’mon…Tap and V drills are good to strengthen your handle in practise, but he needs to be working on how to incorporate his handle into his entire game. How to create separation and get his shot off, draw the defense and kick, master the angles, dump down when the double comes. I like to see a player with a complete game - but thats just me.

Yeah yeah nice handle but we talkin about “basketball”, right ?
