The Jordan Brand and Levi’s announced a special project they have been working on. The companies are set to release co-branded apparel packages in March ‘08. The packs will include AJ1s made of Levi denim (printed with the Jordan elephant design), a t-shirt, and a crispy pair of 501s.
I am very curious to see how this turns out. It sounds great on paper, but if there is one criticism I have had for Jordan over the years it is their denim. Now I know what you are thinking, but it is Levi’s denim. The problem to me has never been material, it has been cut and logo placement. Hopefully they designed with the idea that less is more.
Both brands have a great track record when it comes to collabs. My favorite pair of jeans to date are the Stussy/Levi’s anniversary joints with the metallic silver stitching on the back pockets. They sound hot so keep an eye out next spring.

Levi’s went straight leg in the 80’s and changed the game from bell bottoms. I think that classic design in timeless. With Jordan coming w/ em if it right it can’t lose.

AJ1’s in denim sound awfully good, but I’m not really into 501s, unless they make the fit slightly baggy. Haven’t been wearing standard fit since grade school..
