Traveled down to Charlotte to see family and check out Bobcat guard Ray “Cookout” Felton go against Rajon Rondo. Both are on my radar as I go about my quest to become a NBA team scout. Check this link. I also represented for the playground and handed out some Bounce Mags. One person who requested two ‘Reem Reid covers was DeAndra Alen. She does the Bobcats’ PR.

Also got a chance to hit off Ray Allen’s H.S. Coach who came up from South Carolina to see Ray hit a “trey-and-go.” It’s the three-to-win and then high-step out of the arena on the run move. Coach’s group was thick with crispy Celtic green jerseys and real happy about the outcome.

Coach James Smith from Keenan High School asks - What is a “trey-and-go” again?
Earlier in the day, I headed to the Just For You Barber & Styling Academy @ 5108 N 85 Service Rd. cuz ya gotta drop off a Bounce at the shop to get the talk going. They had a big sign in the window that said, “Sign up for the Brian Adrian Basketball Camp.” Went to the site and it’s one of the biggest in the U.S. with appearances by Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Grant Hill, and Antwan Jamison. I set the Kemba Walker joint on the rack, and as I drove off my cousin told me he left a Bounce there which I didn’t see. Always good to know that the publication has legs… My other cousin told me a little bit bout his Charlotte Sonics 11-under team he played on in the ’90s. J-Stack came up through that organization. It is my hope that we can come back and do a real strong cover on the Charlotte surface scene soon.
