In the ’80s and ’90s, “Twin” was a fixture at Roberto Clemente State Park’s leagues and open runs, and he’d also get his jumper on at Rucker. Now a member of the Bulls in the Pelham Fritz 38 and over in Harlem, he’s part of a playground legend crew featuring “Master Rob,” “Dancing Doogie,” “Disco” Fred Brown, “Moe Black” and others. Three seasons ago when they were all rookies, they blew past everyone for an easy chip. The league has since gotten a lot more competitive, with additions of “The Future,” former Knick Charles Smith, “Speedy” Williams, and others, so the Bulls are re-inventing themselves. Last weekend, Twin dropped 59 points, his career high, and the biggest total of the last two PFBL seasons. He was unstoppable! Along with a light 30+ from Doogie, they were able to squeek past the Knicks.
Come check the action every Sunday @ IS 201 gym, 127th St. between Park and Madison from 8:30am-2:30pm.
