Did you watch the Boost Mobile Elite 24 Hoops Classic national broadcast premiere this past Tuesday? Whoa! There will be multiple re-airs on ESPNU throughout the Fall, and trust it’s a must see. Future NBA guards Brandon Jennings (23 assists) and Lance “Born Ready” Setphenson (38 points) were worth the price of admission at Rucker Park (it was free, but just sounds good), as high flyer Demar Derozen caught yoke after yoke. Ohio State bound BJ Mullen was no joke either.

My favorite play was when Brandon Jennings dribbled through Jrue Holiday’s legs. A foul was called, but it had me amped cuz the way he did it wasn’t even meant to be fancy. He was just taking what the defense gave him. “The Take Over” will be a beast next year when he becomes a frosh @ U. of Arizona.

What was your favorite Elite 24 highlight?

by the way, my favorite highlight was Born Ready dribbling again and again (looking at his defender face) and then shot for 3… and score. Also Brandon Jennings making two no-look passes in a row and then dancing in the middle of the Rucker.

no doubt, brandon’s ‘chicken noodle soup’ jingle was hilarious, but had he done the more up to date ‘aunt jackie’ dance, he would’ve brought the house down . . .

Tyreke Evans finds open lanes like no other, but his jumper was suspect. Kemba Walker is fast as hell and lil #5 on the orange squad dropped that left hand flush baseline….nasty!

    great game overall
