Brad from Handle Magazine alerted us that Corey “Homicide” Williams has been destroying Australia’s NBL pro league in his debut season there, even garnering a look as one of only six players for early MVP consideration. The BX native is a full 24-hour flight away from home, but that doesn’t mean the playground’s toughest guard is not repping his borough to the fullest where ever he goes.

Ugh. Bodies are piling up, y’all… We could upgrade Corey’s nickname to ‘Grim Reaper’, but I think that’s taken already..

Bobbito Garcia a.k.a. Kool Bob Love says:
smush parker is called the ‘grim reaper,’ and that was MF Grimm’s MC name when he first started rhyming, too. so it’s doubly taken, but i think ‘homicide’ is so perfect it doesn’t even need to be touched! they were calling corey ’silver surfer’ at the ebc this past summer, but it didn’t stick . . .
