Nike Air Force 25 Low dropping in November / Oct 31, 2007 / 12:46 am

The AF25 Low was originally supposed to be released in the Summer of ‘07. I had even done a couple of Kool Bob Love spins on them which never saw the light of a sample. I did however see some make-ups at All-Star Game in Vegas last February, and have been eagerly awaiting peeping them on my feet since! My peoples at Niketown NYC mentioned they drop in mid-November. I’m keeping my fingers crossed . . .

Here are some pretty cool AF25 IDs I’ve spotted in the last few months:

AF25 ID on Orlando Baeza a.k.a. “The Soliest” @ Nike Pro City Championship. I told him his casual footwear game was superb, but his on-court butters were lacking so he came back with these. He got a thumbs up from me the old swami.

AF25 ID on Bang Lee @ The Bounce Magazine Goat Park Pick-Up Run. Bang copped these in Tokyo, avoided getting stung from the bumble bees.

AF25 ID on Yuta @ The Goat. He is also from Japan. Currently playing in the ABA, his jumper is very much “true” like his joints.

what up with the puerto rico joints? Whats the price for them?

  2. Colby B. says:

Orlando “Quick Fast” Baeza will be drippin in swagg not only on the street, but on the court too with those joints. One of the cleanest ball shoes I’ve seen in a while, the patten leather gives them some nice flash. Can’t wait to see those on the court.

bobbito, whats goin on? this is fraz the ref. you probably remember me by face back when you were playin at cromwell and doin the show wit stretch on the radio. maybe not. each time i see you you recognize the face. anyway, i was at HITS doin all star game. you took some nice pictures and i wanted to know how to purchase one or two. pictures are always of the players and rarely do the refs get in them. i just got a house by yankee stadium and wanted to put one on the wall. name your price. and about the kool bob love af1’s? theyr’e good money. wonder if converse could hook you up. you know that’s the original. i still rock black black dr. j’s all the time on the court. holla back and let me know how to contact you. oh yeah, my son is ballin at grade school and still tryin to get all those moves on boogie to basics down.

    keep up the good work

Very well cushioned, great lockdown at the forefoot and heel. Extended wear may result in some foot fatigue though.

They’re not for everyone - the shoe is relatively high off the ground, and the heel is narrow so they can be slightly prone to overturning.

Ankle support is good, but the design of the tongue needs work, it has a tendency to dig into the ankle.

    Orlando’s pair is nice indeed.

For those of you interested in basketball sneakers-

I’ll be reviewing and previewing basketball kicks for the online part of the magazine. I also believe there will be increased coverage in the mag as well.

This weekend or on Monday, I’ll have a review of the And1 Triangle, a lightweight guard shoe that I already highly reccomend.

Reebok is re-introducing it’s Blacktop series and it’s ATR line with some incredible stuff. Speaking of Converse, they have some REALLY exciting stuff coming. This is all stuff coming in the next few weeks.

Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions on any aspect of a review, or perhaps request a shoe you’d like to see reviewed.

    Thanks-

    Jeremy
