I would’ve eventually gotten to a vegan-inspired AF1, but unfortunately Nike is not extending my contract through 2008! Oh well!
In any event, these, along with my “Puerto Rico Blue and Red” will all be out this Fall/Winter. Shout out to Fraser Cooke for putting me down, and to the whole Nike 25th anniversary crew–it’s been an incredible year! Mil Gracias!

I had lost a ton of faith in Nike for the AF 25 year until I heard they were getting with you to make some kicks. How in the hell can they be so stupid to think that you are not something they need. Call up Chris at Flight Club for yourself – which AF1s from this year are going for the most?…..trust me it isn’t the bullshit city pack we saw for 3 pain staking months that made no sense to speak of.
In all honesty, the fact that Nike is making such a huge mistake makes these even more important to me. The fact that these could truly be the last kicks coming from a man who has been dedicated to the sneaker game is disheartening, but even more of a reason for any fool not to sleep.
Bitter sweet news. Great kicks, but damn Nike is making the WRONG move.

yo, people, nothing but love from my end to nike. i just had heads asking me what i was gonna collab on in ‘08 since the 7 releases i did in ‘07 had such ill responses. i shared that my contract would expire in december, and it’s all golden. it was a bananas experience to design these and share them with the world, and the swoosh mentioned to me they’ll keep me in mind for one-offs (other than my denture or receding hairline inspirations, BOLO). i’ll keep you all posted if i hear anything. wooord.
