Now that the summer is officially over, we present to you our NYC All-Street Selections. Voters included Sean Couch and Bobbito Garcia (co-founders, Bounce Magazine), Samera “BallGurl” Marsh (www.bouncemag.com), Rickey Rivers (Fireball/Funsport), Bernard Bowen (Referee Assignor), Edgar Burgos (MSG-TV “Summerball” Producer), Paul “PR” Rivera (Nike-NYC Brand Manager), Sid Jones (United Brooklyn Coach), Antonio Brimmer (Referee), Christian Grant-Fields (Dime Magazine). Others were invited but unable to participate; we hope to include them next time around.

Criteria:

1. No players on current NBA rosters are included.
2. Players who participated in multiple tournaments for the whole season were given greatest consideration.
3. No prior MVPs, highlights, championships, etc. were considered. This list is strictly based on performance in Summer
‘07.
4. Players were picked regardless of position.

The top selections, in order of greatest number of votes received:

Our pre-season #1 may have ranked higher had he not gone overseas before the playoffs.

Not gonna front the summer all tournament team is a great idea. Not its gonna make players work even harder to destroy players and catch a few bodies and facials. Can’t wait to see what u have for first team. But another thing I never see bobbito Garcia checking out the Rucker Pro AM in Brooklyn Medgar Evers college their be some tough games there. All those players u names plays in that tournament.
