Nike AF1 Mid Customs on DJ Tai @ the ‘Basketsquare’ court. Dude was had me open all week with the joints he was putting on, including “Crooklyn 2″ feat. Chubbs and OC, Nas’ “Represent,” Big L’s “Put’em On,” just to name a few.

Nike AF1 Mr. Cartoon Mexico butters on Raul Barrigon of Gigante Basket Magazine. The blue-gray Mr. Cartoons may have been more rare, but the red/white/green are so tasty yum yum!

Mizuno B-ball Hi-tops on China’s Showtime. Mizuno, I believe, is a Japanese brand. Their running shoes and cleats are available here in the US, but not their basketball category. I’ve seen some Asian websites with other colors in these. I wonder how they feel to play in, may have to find out one day . . .

    Hi Mr.Bobbito:
The last picture above is a Li-ning shoe, not Mizuno.
It is a chinese brand. Spanish national team wear that brand in game apparel.
They have a shoe deal with Shaq, and other NBA players.

my bad! i had asked “Showtime” if they were Mizuno and he nodded his head. he didn’t speak a lick of english, though, and probably thought i had said something else. Li-ning did the uniforms for our ‘Streetbasket’ exhibition, and i’ve worn the shorts every time i’ve played since and love’em!

    mil gracias

Those are by far the best offering I’ve seen from Li-Ning, and I’m gonna look out for future releases (despite those total clunkers that Damon Jones has been wearing). By the way, how about K1X being the #1 brand for this fall in the Bounce poll? That’s the biggest upset since Michigan-Appalachian St.

Those bottom ones are the best. I’m excited for the release in a US store. Is Damon Jones still wearing those?
