In 2006, playgrounds legends Jack Ryan and Speedy Williams teamed up to win a purse of $125,000 at the Still Hoopin 3 on 3. A number of former pros and D1 players, most notably Seattle Supersonic 3 point marksmen Dale Ellis, also competed.

The weekend tournament takes place again this weekend 8/24-8/26 in Upstate New York. You must be 35 and over to play. Contact Robert Marder @ 212 764 6910 for info, or visit www.stillhoopin.com

    Man, I wish we can get tournaments like these back home.. Organizers here don’t cater for players above 21, let alone 35!
