Feet On The Street 8/7/07 / Aug 7, 2007 / 1:25 am

Nike AF1 ID on Fernandito a.k.a. Eternal at Central Park Summerstage. i was about to have beef with my dude for wearing these out in the damp dirt post a thundershower, but he sacrificed for you, our readers, cuz i told him i wanted to feature them on the site and needed a flick!

Nike 360 2 on Ballgurl at Nike Pro City Games. i featured these in my Bounce “Let’em Marinate” column months ago, and they are now tearing up 125th St. this summer. Uptown has always embraced function and style, and these joints hit the high mark on bof.

Puma Clyde on Brendan Callahan at the Bronx site for Last Man Standing. I thought Walt Frazier himself had come out to the park to bake some defenders, until i looked up and realized it was my man “Cal” chilling in the classic early ’70s fit.

One thing that drives me crazy about my kicks is that they crease on the toe box EVERYTIME.. I know its bound to happen because we bend our toe’s when we walk, but I feel like it happens mad fast on my shits.. Shit gets me tight..

Sorry, had to vent.. I noticed the buttery AF1’s Eternal is rocking are creasing a bit, and I know how that makes me feel..

  5. Fernandito aka EternaL says:

Buen provecho!!! to all the sneaker heads. Bobbito and Chris, Gracias por el amor!!! The name of the design is called: Young Lord. The name plate reads: EmperiaL 1898. I’m paying homage to the Puerto Rican/Latin@ rights organization from the 60s/70s called The Young Lords. They wore distinct Purple berets. pa’lante siempre, pa’lante!!!
