Steve Burtt Jr. can lay you going up or on his way down, as witnessed by this little ice cream double scoop in the lane.

3 seconds left in regulation, announcer Bobby Cey screamed out, “the West can tie it with a three,” so Steve Burtt Jr. obliged. Wap. Like ‘dat. In OT, he finished with 51. The East squad was led by former Rice HS/U of Cincy/Denver Nugget Kenny “Serious Satellite” Sadderfield with 40+. It turned out to be the highest scoring All-Star Game in Hoops In The Sun history.

The Dunk Contest was taken super convincingly by JFK (I always forget his real name) of PR Pride.

RIP Joe “Pops” Cruz. He’s smiling upstairs seeing what his two sons have done with what he started. Word up.

Obidiah Toppin a.k.a. “Snoop” caught about 5 nasties, this one off the alley bah-kah!

Steve Burtt Jr. might have already reached 2000 points this summer! Is there a record of most points scored in a summer? Joe Hammond or Fly Williams probably holds the record.

  2. Sean Couch says:

Steve is having a summer to remember. Multiple games over 40 are rare in the summer. He is doing it indoors and outdoors on a high level.

  3. Jesse Washington says:

Can anyone explain why Steve Jr. is exploding like he is?!? It feels like he kind of came out of nowhere.

  4. Sean Couch says:

Burtt Jr. has D and O transition skills to score in bunches. He can get 16 just on lay-ups. He plays strong defense and creates points off turnovers.
His jumpshot is pure enough to be effective outdoors in the elements and
being left-handed he is difficult to defend

  5. Davidc says:

Steve Burtt is a great player that should be in the NBA!
