Check out my interview with Rasaun “Crabby” Young. #9 on Bounce Magazine’s top 20 NYC Ballers. After handlin his business at Hoops in the Sun, he took some time to share his thoughts on the game, and hip hop. Thanks for the interview Crabby.

thanks for coming through to the book signing tonight. nice interview above (be cautious with the curses for future ref, though). Shout to Bran Nubians! Still one of the best debut albums ever . . . “Step to the rear, Gran Puba’s on arrival”
Crabby is a beast man. One of the toughest guards in NYC hands down. If you are going against him you better get your weight up…he will drag you through the lane. King of the old school 3 point play.
Appreciated your intro bio. Marrying Hoops & Music is a natural thing to do. The sound of a ball bouncing is apart of the natural soundtrack, but NYC streetball has a hip hop connotation to it.
Glad you brought the two together!
